Juniorfest in Brussels

Thanks to cooperation with the Pilsen Region, since 2012, JUNIORFEST has been held annually for 3 days in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

The travelling "JUNIORFEST on the Road" found its home in an original Art Nouveau townhouse, which was ceremoniously opened by its owner, the Pilsen Region, on June 1, 2012.

The Pilsen House is located at 31 Place Jamblinne de Meux and was built in 1932 by the renowned Belgian architect Henri van Massenhove. Each year, JUNIORFEST has the opportunity to showcase new Czech films for children and young audience here, not only to the local Czech community but also with distinguished guests such as Jiřina Bohdalová, Viktor Preiss, Zdeněk Zelenka, and Václav Vorlíček.

How to get to the Pilsen House:

From the airport, the best options are express bus No. 12 (stop at Diamant or Schuman) or No. 21 (with a stop almost directly in front of the house – Jamblinne de Meux) – ticket price is €3 – or by taxi (average cost around €30).

By metro, the nearest station is on lines 1 and 5, "Schuman," and then about a 5-minute walk.
