A BORDER WITHOUT BORDERS: A Two-Day Meeting of Children from THE Czech Republic and Germany
We invite you to the unique event A BORDER WITHOUT BORDERS, which will take place on November 12 and 13, 2024, in the picturesque town of Horšovský Týn.
This two-day event is intended for children from the Czech Republic and Germany and is organized in cooperation with our partner city, Naaburg.
This Juniorfest z.s. project is co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Small Projects Fund under the INTERREG Bavaria - Czechia Program 2021-2027.
Event Program
During the two days, participants can look forward to a diverse and inspiring program, which includes:
- Film Screenings: A selection of films that provide insights into the culture and history of both countries.
- Discussions with Directors: Talks with prominent filmmakers who will share their experiences and perspectives on filmmaking.
- Workshops on Film and Film Education: Practical workshops focused on the creative process and the basic principles of film production.
- Film Quiz: A fun and interactive competition that tests knowledge about film and film culture from both countries.
The primary aim of the A BORDER WITHOUT BORDERS project is to strengthen Czech-German relations in the border region. Children will have the opportunity to gain deeper insights into life in the neighbouring country, build new cross-border friendships, and overcome language barriers. The event also offers a chance to understand how life is in the neighbouring country and to recognize the common values and interests we share.
Join us on this exciting journey of discovery and understanding between nations.
We look forward to meeting you in Horšovský Týn!
