First Session of the Day Film Camp in Horšovský Týn
Camp Activities
The Juniorfest Day Camp in Horšovský Týn was themed around The NeverEnding Story
With a screening of the summary film in the castle cinema, the fourth Juniorfest Day Camp in Horšovský Týn concluded on Friday, July 12.
This time, the theme was the film The NeverEnding Story, and the main task for the twenty-one participants was to save the realm of Fantasia from the advancing Nothing.
Over the course of five days, the children freed Falkor, the Dragon, from spider webs, who then became their faithful guide, overcame the challenges of the Rockbiter, helped Morla, the Tortoise, passed through several mysterious gates, and were not stopped even by the Singing Trees.
Thanks to favorable weather, the varied program included the promised bike trip and a visit to the mica mine in Domažlice.
For each completed task, the children received a letter, which they used at the end to form a name for the Childlike Empress. She then rewarded each of them with a valuable gift.
