How to Teach Film in Primary Schools: Film and Audiovisual Education in Primary School
MAS Aktivios, registered association, in cooperation with JUNIORFEST, registered association, and the international CinEd program, cordially invites you to an accredited seminar for educators.
The seminar takes place on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the large hall of Cultural and Community Center in Přeštice.
The seminar is intended for all educators and staff of primary schools as well as representatives of informal education. Participants will receive a certificate of completion accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as part of their further education.
The aim of the seminar is to motivate and support teachers and offer methods for using pedagogical materials related to films, so that students do not just passively consume films but also understand that films can convey messages.
The program will be led by lecturers from the Free Cinema organization, which specializes in film education in schools, and representatives from the Association for Film and Audiovisual Education.
You can look forward to a lecture by Jiří Forejt, M.A., Ph.D. - “Everyone Watches Films: Teaching Film (Not Only) in Primary Schools” or a workshop with Tereza Nová, B.A. - “How to Structure a Film Screening and Work with Pedagogical Materials?” and much more.
